If you could get any 3 screen for a multi-monitor setup....what would you get? I like the look of the 34" asus rog swift 1440p screens at 1800 each.
What would you guys get and what issues would I have?

three 34" 1440p ultrawides like that would have a total resolution of 10320 x 1440 I dont think you be able to play anything on that even with the very best hardware. Not many games would support it either.

You will no doubt run into issues with games that dont support 21:9 Ratio properly and will need a shitload of GPU power to run it.

What are your system specs? I'd say for this to be playable you would need a couple GTX 1080's at least.

If you wanted 3 monitors you would be better off with 3 16:9 Ratio monitors because you would run into less issues with games and the performance will be a lot better.

3 24inch panels. Prolly 2k panels for the price. 3 panel gaming has a lot of issues. I just abandoned my triple display setup in favor of a single ultrawide and I have no regrets.

1. requires a lot of horsepower to run.
2. Very few games support such a wide aspect. You'll run into issues such as HUD layouts being to far spread apart, menus being cut off and the gaming being cropped as opposed to the view being expanded.
3. Really only good for simulation games and MMOs
4. The extra screens really don't feed you any more information then a single monitor does. The other 2 monitors are to far out from the center of your field of vision to be useful for anything other then ambient light. With MMO's they are a good place to keep mods and maps but that's about it.

1) I dislike multi-monitor for gaming:
- gap between monitors
- image is warped (NVidia has a fix but only for newer games with a plugin using GTX1000 series)
- monitors usually FURTHER AWAY due to having side monitors (I sit TWO FEET from my 27", 2560x1440 which is about perfect IMO)
- I prefer 2560x1440, but that's a lot of pixels for three monitors unless you have a very good GPU (I believe you get about HALF the FPS compared to a single monitor.)

2) *A single 3440x1440, GSYNC panel (plus good NVidia GPU like GTX1070) is one of the best ways to go

- with a screen this wide, and sitting at the proper distance (roughly 2->2.5 feet away) you do NOT want to turn your head any further to the left or right
- with 3x large screens you'll end up having to move the monitors FURTHER AWAY which then defeats a lot of the benefit of getting large monitors.

3) If you really need more WORK (not gaming) real estate then consider getting two monitors that you can ROTATE so that they match the HEIGHT now (i.e. 1920x1080 24" ?). You can CALCULATE that once you know the size and ratio of the main monitor.

Summary:
- avoid multi-monitors for gaming
- GSYNC, 3440x1440 100Hz, IPS is considered IDEAL by many people

(Freesync is cheaper, however there is no AMD card I would currently buy at this budget level. The cheapest Freesync monitor I like is $550USD which is a 27", IPS, 144Hz monitor. A lot of people would be happy with an RX-480 and that monitor, but I want a more powerful GPU such as GTX1070 or GTX1080 so Freesync is simply not an option for me)

Having said that, I'm waiting for prices on monitors to drop. I'm okay with my 27", 2560x1440, IPS, 60Hz panel for now. I'll also probably hold off for HDR monitors.

Other:
Ultrawide has its caveats too. Mostly the fact that you'll get BLACK BARS on the left and right for unsupported content, or for content that is too warped so you set it back to 16:9 ratio.

I really wanted an ultrawide, 3440x1440 however after doing a lot of research I decided against it mainly due to the black bar issue, so for now I consider 2560x1440 27" up to 32" to be ideal. That may not bother you though.

Hmm ok I see your points.
So I think single will be the way I shall go.
So I guess it will be a choice between 4k or an a single asus rog swift 1440p widescreen.

Gpu will be a 1080ti or a Titan p whatever comes out first.

I'd rather a high refresh rate 1440p screen over a 4k 60hz one.
Titan XP is already technically out, retaillers just dont have them yet haha

I would rather prefer a triple 2560x1080 setup, but even then the support just isn't there. It's hardly there for 1 21:9 monitor.

Panel type I would stick to IPS or VA, TN's shift contrast too much so things will appear darker or brighter depending on which way you look at them from an angle. They've gotten a lot better though, so a lot of the TN monitor problems are overexaggerated using old exampled in new tech.

All the best!

When are you going to not be looking straight on while gaming though, That's why I thought tn would be better for quicker response rate gaming.
You guys have scared me off multi screen setups now thanks hahaha

would love a 180hz 4k monitor...

I got the LG 34uc88. It's not perfect but pretty good considering I got it for 700 bucks new. It supports freesync, but to a almost useless capacity. If I could do it again I would prolly get the dell for about the same price. Mostly because my previous displays were dell and served me very well. Personally I wish asus hadn't made there monitor so "gamer". I probably would have stomached the price if I wasn't worried about how it made my setup look.
