score seems a bit low but a huge improvement to my fx 60 (@2.9) and 2 8800gtx's (11532 marks) on xp 32 bit

You spoil your kids man. They must be old enough to know Daddies machine is better. My kids have a Xp2400+/9800 pro right now which is about the 10th best system in the house, and they are thrilled with it. To be honest, they still use so much old crappy Win 3.1 win 95 software (educational games and such) that I have no desire to upgrade their machine too often. That junk is a pain to keep running right in Win XP. If we had room upstairs I'd set the oldest child up with his own A64/X1950XT machine as his software is newer and less OS destructive. But he does get the priveledge of playing on the other machines in my private tech central area. ;)
