My pc isnt liking my new upgrade. I went from having two sticks of 8GB ballistix sport Ram at 2400mhz to two sticks of 16GB Trident Z ram at 3000mhz. The very first thing I noticed is that it didnt want to post. I turned it off and the power supply turned it all back on and it worked fine. I didn't play any games but was just surfing the web and YouTube. Worked fine. But as soon as I try to load up any game it would immediately crash the game, or wood crash whenever it is at a high load. GTA has presets set at ultra or highest at 1080p. After I boot into the game thirty seconds later it crashes. It freezes up and doesn't let me do anything and the keyboard and mouse lights turn off. the PC still runs and the screen is still displaying... but, I'm not able to do anything. As soon as I take out one stick of ram it goes back to working perfectly fine. I know the motherboard can support 64 gigs, so does it simply not like the ram? Do I need to do a bios update? Wtf?

Listing all specs will get things going first to get more help.

Try resetting cmos by booting to bios
Load optimized defaults
Or unplug power from psu
Press and HOLD power button for 15 secs.
Install 2nd stick
Reboot to bios
Then set docp and 3000 dram frequency.
Any other changes like xfr / pbo can be done later.
Please post back with results.
