Downloaded bearshare now my laptop doesn't turn on

Bearshare will not effect hardwrae, but it could have come with some nasty malware to infect your pc and in rare occasions, zap the BIOS.

Bearshare is still around? Jeez! I doubt it was actually Bearshare that crashed the computer and more likely something you downloaded from it.
