So I gave hackintosh a try on my HDD and everything went completely fine except for the whole thing being pretty laggy and choppy, I was advised to install it to an SSD instead, which I did, again with no issues. Thing is my HDD is now no longer detected, and I wish it to use it to store media such as movies, music, etc.

This is my disk utility window, see? not detected.

Also, I checked bios and I think it is not detecting it there either, right?

Thanks and would really appreciate some help on getting this fixed asap.

Thanks for the reply. I guess you read the thread incorrectly.

I'm currently running macOS on my SSD with no issues, the problem is my HDD which does not show up.

in that case if the HDD isn't showing up in the BIOS then its a bad drive.

Well it was a good drive before I messed with it, thats for sure.

Anyone else? 🙁

I will take the drive to a friends Windows PC to see if it gets detected there or not. Assuming the drive is OK but formatted in a macOS filesystem since it had Mac OS X Sierra earlier, will windows/bios detect it anyway?
