[SOLVED] Tried pc specialists they told me to come here...

Right... I have built my PC everything works...
Apart from my 2tb HDD I have done everything imaginable: changed sata cables, changed the socket in the PSU, moved the sata cables around on my mother board swapped the cables the PSU lead to make it work is Plugged in iv even gone to disc manager and scanned for it and absolute nothing so if any of you geniuses out there that knows the problem please let me know...

As I do not want to spend £60 for curries/pcworld to fix the problem

Full specs of PC:
Gigabyte b450m gaming
Ryzen 7 2700x
GTX 650 (yes they bottleneck but it's ok)
16gb ddr4 ram
240gb SSD
2tb HDD (not working supposedly)
Evga 650 bronze
Os: Windows 10 pro

Seems like you tried everything. If you tried another SATA cable and you tried your other SATA ports and the HDD is still not recognized and isn't working let's say that you have a dead drive.

You could try testing the drive in another system.

Is this an old drive from a previous system or is it a new one? What is the drive brand and model?

Brand: Seagate
Model: ST2000DMZ08/DM008
Condition: new from Amazon
I will be trying it on a different system tomorrow
I do have another one I did try it but that's dead due to a fire in the system with an old hdd(don't worry this did not affect any other components)

Seagate Barracuda has a class action lawsuit not long ago for making a bad batch of HDD. No idea if yours is in that batch. If it doesn't work in that other system then it's dead for sure. let me know!

It maybe a dead HDD I'll look once I updated my bios also update on the GPU: GTX 1050ti

I would RMA or return the HDD.
