I purchased a new CPU and when i put it into my computer and turned it on nothing happened so i decided to reinstall an old CPU and just keep playing my games but now my monitor says no signal my keyboard and mouse wont light up, I tested my keyboard and mouse on this laptop they lit up and worked just fine I don't know what to do

my computer is prebuilt from cyberpowerpc

my old cpu was Intel i5-6402P Quad Core 2.8GHz the new one i used to upgrade too was
Intel Core i5 6600K 3.50 GHz Quad Core Skylake Desktop Processor, Socket LGA 1151, 6MB Cache
my motherboard is b150m Bazooka MSI
I wanted to upgrade because I wanted to stream
I used the same CPU cooler

Lots of things can go wrong in a cpu swap, from utterly horrible to simple glitches...

Simple:
Confirm your CPU is even compatible with what you put it in (you gave no details, so, no one can help yet)

remove all power, then reset your BIOS or remove the BIOS battery...

double check you did not dislodge any CPU PWR headers, and confirm you hooked the new heatsink up to the CPU fan header....

UTTERLY HORRIBLE:

Pray you did not still have trickle power ot mainboard when you did CPU swap ('shutdown' is not the same as 'off w/pwr removed from PSU'

Pray you bent no pins on cpu or socket, depending on manufacturer/generation, as applicable

Food for thought: is the new CPU even 'known good'?

i just want to revert back to my old cpu and just play on through. My keyboard mouse and monitor wont respond to my computer when i turn it on I don't know what i did wrong trying to do that
