Tried to change UEFI boot order, now won't boot to anything

I have an Asus X75V laptop.

I was going to install windows 10 from a bootable usb. I went to the boot options in my UEFI to set my boot order to put usb at the top since it was just loading windows right away.

Firstly, my UEFI had about 400 entries of windows boot loader in the boot order list..... Which was weird...

So, I finally get to the top of the bootloader list and put the USB drive at the top. Save settings and reboot.

Boots to a black screen.

Looked online, someone suggested to remove the hard drive and then boot up to see if it would post. It powered on and went to UEFI, which was awesome. So I tried just booting off the USB without the hard drive installed.

Turned off my laptop, inserted USB drive, turned it back on and just black screen again...

So, assuming that the USB just didn't get set up right I took it out and tried to reboot. Black screen. No errors, no option to press a key to get to UEFI or BIOS, nothing. Tried pressing all the keys when booting up, just a black screen.

So, I tried putting my hard drive back in. Black screen....

I took out the million screws that it takes to get a laptop apart and pulled the mobo battery for a minute hoping to reset everything.

No dice. Still black screen.

Any thoughts?

I can't get back in to the bios. I get an ASUS splash screen for about 1 second, then a black screen. No access to bios. Tried all the usual buttons.

I just left the battery out of the motherboard, disconnected power and lithium battery for about 2 hours hopefully resetting things, but still no change.

Just sitting at a black screen despite no hard drive or anything connected to it. No mention of lacking a bootable device, nothing.

Turn it off, hold the f2 button, keep holding it while powering backing on.
Also, pressing backspace at power-on also brings up boot options. Don't continue to press it a bunch though. Just a couple of times then wait, depending how long the system has been off.
The first way takes you into bios setup. The aptio utility.
