First off sorry if i categorized this wrong, or something like that, im using my phone and i'm new here.
Ok so i got a new 850 Evo 512gb ssd drive last week and i used samsungs own program to copy all the data from the old Boot drive to this new one and then changed the boot order. All seemed tl be well and the System showed me that the new drive is the boot drive. After this i decided to wipe the old boot drive( 830 128gb samsung drive) using samsung magicians clear erase to use it as a disk for games. Magician told me the ssd was in a frozen state and i followed orders to open my casing remove the SATA power cable, reconnect it and then continue with the clear erase. I resumed the clear erase and shortly after the pc got slow and froze, nothing seems to be happening now and the secure erase is stuck at 20%. I can move the mouse cursor freely around, but nothing is responding. Can i reboot without breaking anything?

Hey there, xWalther.

Well, try to disconnect the problematic SSD, to see if you'll be able to use your computer normally, in order to find out if the new SSD and the cloned OS are still performing as they should. I'd recommend that you try the 830 SSD with a different computer and try quick formatting it to see if you'll be able to use it properly afterwards. If you're still having problems with it when you reformat it, I'd suggest that you contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.

Hope that helps.
