Trinity to Richland update?

hi,

I want to upgrade my APU A6-5400B (Trinity) to A10-6800K (Richland),

my mobo site says i need to update bios for Richland support and there is a proper update file,

question is: after update, the current Trinity APU will work with updated bios? or i can only use Richland APUs?

OK i updated bios and i know answer now. it don't have any effect on current APU behavior and everything is fine.
