can i ask for clarification about this 2 processors?
intel pentium G2030 and pentium g3240

about its number of display supported.. it says 3..
so if i have a motherboard that can support 3 displays..
like LGA1150 ASRock B85M-HDS
or LGA 1155 Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3

does it mean i can have 3 monitors?

will be using it in my restaurant together with my own software..
1 for the kitchen.. 1 at counter..
another at office..

and... how well would this processor handle without graphic card.. in triple display..
just for simple, office use.. one or two programs running 8 hrs a day..
with 4gb ram..

Yes it will work as long as the programs aren't to intense. I don't imagine they would be for a restaurant but I may be mistaken. Also you will need an LGA 1150 board like the ASROCK one, the LGA 1155 Gigabyte one won't work.

hmm.. why wont the gigabyte work? it has dvid slot, d-sub slot, and hdmi slot.. for 3 display of lga 1150 pentium g2030
or am i wrong..?

lga 1155 pentium g2030 for the gigabyte
lga 1150 pentium g3240 for the asrock

it would be used.. for a single software i made, just for transactions, ordering, and help the kitchen crew with the orders.. and since i saw it play gta san andreas with onboard graphics, so i thought, why not...

Sorry I was talking about the g3240 I forgot you also listed the 2030.

i see.. so, with a motherboard that has triple display support... and has dvi-d slot, d-sub slot, and hdmi slot..

it would work fine?
i mean, 1 monitor connects with hdmi, the 2nd with dvi-d, and the other with the d-sub..

(kinda confused) my first time to use triple monitor, since i only tried dual display with a gpu with another cpu of mine..

Yes it should work, but in case it doesn't, you can always get another graphics card which ~10 like the radeon 5450 to add more displays. Even if 3 do work, you can use the card to add extra in the future.

okay.. that got me even more confused..
what do you mean by "even if 3 work, i can use the card to add extra"

just checked radeon 5450.. and its very cheap here..

so if i get it. i could get more than 3 monitors up?..

it would be really nice..
i can make other monitor keep on advertising my food.. etc.. etc..

Yes. If you connect 3 monitors to the video outputs on the motherboard, and you want to hook up more monitors, you can add a video card like the 5450 to the motherboard and you can connect even more monitors.

wow.. thats nice.. ok..
1- counter
1- kitchen crew
1- office
2- food / menu advertisement

ok... so now i have to search for long dvi-d / d-sub cables.. 😀

thanks bob hays :)

No, It doesn't work.
The Intel HD Graphic option detect 3 monitors, but it only can use 2 monitors simultaneously (One D-Sub + One HDMI or One DVI). It doesn't show 3 monitors, when you choose Multiple Display setting, only 2 monitors. But it detect 3 monitors, so you have to choose one of the digital display from 2 digital displays option.

Anyone can help please?
