Triple Monitor Setup On GTX 980ti

Hey i will be ordering 3 Asus MX279h Monitors and was wondering on my GTX 980ti how i would go about doing that. What i was thinking aqbout doing was doing a Displayport (1) to Hdmi(2 out) splitter and using the other on card hdmi port for the third monitor. Would this work?? If not any suggestions??

Okay, I would use the DVI for one monitor, HDMI for another and finally one of the displayport to HDMI adaptors to run those monitors, or you buy 3 monitors which support displayport as it is better than the other two options for video connection

I think i may be dumb...
Just found out that the 980ti has 3 Display Ports...
Just gonna buy 3 DP to Hdmi cords...
