Hello all

So i have been considering getting a triple monitor setup for my gaming shrine. I currently have a 27" VG278HE Asus 3D gaming monitor and was considering getting 2 slightly smaller monitors and set them up vertically on either side of my first monitor.

now HERE is my question:- what size do the 2 additional monitors need to be in order for their length (which is now vertical) to be equal to the height of my 27" monitor?

I read that having different sized monitors is bad for gaming because they won't display things correctly if they do not align well.

now i COULD tell you the dimensions of my 27" monitor but I really do not have it with me at the moment since it was a DOA defect and is with ASUS right now being repaired but that's irrelevant.

i thought maybe 2 x 24" screens are what i'm looking for but i'm not sure.

I also would appreciate if you guys could recommend a good pair of low latency monitors that would be awesome.

I found out the answer.

Turned out that for a 27 inch screen in landscape i would require two 18inch screens in portrait in order for them to be the same height.
