Hello community,

I am planning to buy these freesync monitors: http://aoc-europe.com/en/products/g2260vwq6
and I was wondering if with my current videocard (R9 390) a triple freesync experience is possible. I know that display-ports are required to use freesync but with the upcoming freesync over hdmi and display-port adapters there must be a way to use freesync on triple monitors.

Hello. I am not going to discuss about if it is possible, since I am not certain. What I will tell you though is that you will probably have a better experience with one high-end freesync monitor than with 3 mediocre ones.

The AOCs you chose suffer for the usual issues TN monitors have: sucky image quality because of dull and uneven colors coupled with gamma shift. The fact that the two of them will be viewed from an angle makes the gamma shift and degradation of colors even worse.

At about the same price you can buy the Acer XF270HU, which is an 27" 1440p 144Hz AHVA with Freesync monitor. One massive monitor with vastly superior image quality and smoother experience thanks to the high refresh rate and the sync tech will be a better...
