Triple Monitors or 1 1440p?

So right now i have 3 1440x900 monitors that i use for work and gaming. I am thinking of replacing them with 1 1440p monitor (2560x1440). I have the three for nvidia surround but I don't use it as much I thought I would. I think the extra desktop real estate would be nice for photoshop and video editing. But not sure for multitasking. What do you guys think? Because of their hefty price I can only afford one right now but plan on having two some time.

I run a lot of programs pretty much all the time, so would running say skype, sony vegas, and xsplit still be easy on a single monitor but at that high of resolution.

What I would do is get a 1440p monitor put in in the middle and at the outside put your old monitors because you are just going to be doing xsplit, skype, and programming. Use the middle 1440p for gaming also if you are going to be doing that.
