Hello again tom'sHardware community! So I am running into an issue with triple screen gaming. My GPU is being recognized and I can see that it is being detected on the Nvidia control panel but it is not being recognized as my third screen (so I cannot use surround for all three, just the two).

Two of my monitors are exactly the same however the third is just slightly different but it is still the same resolution (1080p). They are : ASUS VE278 (X2) and ASUS VE276. The 276 one is not being recognized in surround.

I have been looking for solutions for hours. My Nvidia driver is up to date and all the resolutions seem to be in sync so I do not understand what the issue is.

Any help is very appreciated! Thank you guys!

It is being detected however it is not being recognized as my third screen for triple screen gaming. When I try to click on it to have surround gaming it is says "Only 2 displays can be selected".

In that case, I am not really sure. I would make sure that windows has it setup as a third monitor. After that I would guess that a setting or two would need to be messed with in the Nvidia control panel. I only have One, 24x14 monitor and have yet to do a tripple monitor setup, so I am not really sure what the issue would be.

SOLUTION FOUND : This is for anyone having the same issue as me.

DISCLAIMER : My monitors are almost exactly the same so I do not recommend doing this if you have very different monitors that were made years apart. I do not take responsibility if you do choose to do it my way.

First: Download Monitor Asset Manager. Run it and select one of your three or so monitors on the top left part of the program. Highlight it and click on File>Create INF and save that INF into an easily recognizable folder. You will need it later.

Second: Go into Device Manager and click on Monitors. They usually have a driver named "default PnP monitor" or something like that. Right click on the selected monitor and select Update Driver > Browse My Comp for Driver Software > Have Disc. Then locate where you put that .INF file you saved. Select it and update all your monitors with that SAME driver.

Last: Refresh NVIDIA Control Panel and you now should see all three monitors being recognized.

HALLELUJAH! NVIDIA made this so difficult!

Some games don't support multi-monitor setups. Granted most games do but there are those that don't. Also depending which connections you are using for your monitors (ex. all Display Port) you may need to enable surround display to "fool" sort of speak games and sometimes Windows into using more than 2 monitors. These are all possibilities as to how to fix your issue and not guarantees.
