Is it possible to run in 7680x1080? No need to be concerned with graphics horsepower as I will be running 1 980 Ti at the very least. If this is not possible, what would be a good monitor to use for Nvidia Surround?

it is technically posibble to use that, but even a 980 is probably not enough for that resolution (as it has the same amount of pixels as 4k, and a 980 ti can only handle 40FPS on that reesolution), and super ultra wide like that is probably not supported by most games, so its better probably better to get a triple 1080p 144Hz setup, or one 1440p 144Hz monitor.

Ah, I wasn't even considering compatibility. I will probably just pick up two more Asus vg248qe's to join my existing one along with a second 980 Ti. Triple monitor setups are still unable to utilize g-sync, correct? Thanks for your help!

no. gysnc still works, but remember that the asus monitors you are talking about dont have gsync.
