What are Trophies?
Trophies are the reward earned for achieving certain goals on the forum.
How Do I earn Trophies?
By answering questions and winning Best Answers (Solving questions) - you ean them by participating and helping people with their problems.
Some trophies based on your Input - Discourse
Some trophies based on your Answers being marked as right - Best Answers
And some are based on what area that Best Answer was in, so you can get 2 rewards for same Best Answer - CPU Trophy , for example.

Trophies, are all worth an amount of Trophy points. So by earning them you add to your total.
They also appear under your name in the forums in any post you make, as 3rd total down, (What each of these totals means is explained here - Totals under name)
and also show on a tab in your profile.
