Hi!

I have a problem activating my PC screen from hibernation (win 8.1)
I try mouse and keyboard, but often no response.
I manually unplug/replug screen, sometimes this work, sometimes not.
Last resort is restart pc.

There is also an issue with screen going black for 1-2s with various frequency.

The GPU and screen is new.
I've replaced screen x2, no change

How should I best troubleshoot this?
What is most likely cause?

Make and model of the PSU in your build? Is this a prebuilt system? How do you have 6 GB's of ram? 4GB + 2GB? BIOOS version on your motherboard at the time of writing? I'd lean on your PSU having an issue powering up the system when it wakes up from hibernation mode. See if you can source a 450W reliably built PSU from a neighbor of friend and see if the system exhibits the same issue.

I don't have a spare CPU around. Can you explain a little on why you might think CPU underpower is cause? In hibernation I'd expect CPU to be very low taxed.
