I removed an internal 2TB hard drive from my computer and now the system will not boot to its M.2 drive. I've tried booting directly to it in the BIOS, but it says I must "Reboot and Select proper Boot device...." I booted the system up to Linux with a live USB and checked to see if the M.2 drive was functioning and not corrupted, which it was (I could access my Windows partition and files perfectly). I tried re-seating the M.2 drive as well to no avail.

Does anybody have any idea of any additional troubleshooting I can do or have a suggestion to fix the problem?

The M.2 drive is a 970 Evo, the motherboard a B450 Tomahawk, and the CPU an stock speed Ryzen 5 3600x.

Thanks!
