So im having trouble connecting the atx cable to the motherboard it was loose and wouldn't clip in. After taking the motherboard out I managed to get it to clip in but it seems like its not 100 percent in there. Is it safe to use or should I forget about it? Its not loose any more and I can turn it on no problem it just sticks out a bit. Ive read through threads with the exact same problem im guessing its the psu. Ive also inluded some pics sorry for the quality.http://m.imgur.com/Qb4Yz3S,AZDccl9,a26wPFw,yIUvWWY,uGddMRX,K7brijF

Solution
This is a common problem with the CX series power supplies the clips are poorly made and won't latch.

There are a dozen threads on the forum like this.

I have come across like 5 more in the last few months.

Solution

ive read through alot of those threads i just wasn't sure if im safe using it the way it is. i dont want you to think im just duplicating a thread for no reason haha.

thanks for the response. it seems like its mostly in there but im still a little uncomfortable.

Just going to add some insight here as well.
I had a CX500 on a M5A97 and the 24 pin connector wouldnt clip all the way in, surprise surprise.
I simply pushed it down enough that it felt snug and made contact, without harming the board, and it ran fine.

(It ran fine until its capacitors failed 6 months later)
