I want WiFi via my new TP-Link TL-WDR4300 and my old Netgear DN2200 to be the modem (in Bridge mode). I successfully flashed OpenWRT (Barrier Breaker r40887) onto my TP-Link. I set my Netgear DN2200 to Bridge mode. But I still can't access the internet.
I called my ISP (Netvision). I entered my UserName and PW into the Netgear Router
Under "Basic Settings".
Entered xxxx@INetvision and the correct password, and successfully connected to the internet. (Worked: Laptop<->Netgear(with Username and PW)<->Internet)
In this setup I can Ping NetGear at address 10.0.0.1.
Then I did
Laptop<->TP-Link<->Netgear(with Username and PW)<->Internet
That didn't work
In this setup I'm able to Ping TP-Link at 192.168.1.1
but I can't Ping NetGear at 10.0.0.1
What do you think the problem is?
Also, I think that my UserName and PW should be entered in the TP-Link OpenWRT router, not the Netgear (bridge).
I'm on Windows 7. I can boot into Ubuntu.
