Hi all, searched a bunch of threads here but couldn't find the answer - even though somethings were close.

My HD recently crashed and I bought a new XPG SX8200 Pro to replace it. When I use a windows recovery boot drive it says the drive, I partition and install but then it won't boot without the recovery drive. I'm imagining it's a bios issue.

When I go into BIOS I can't find it there anywhere. My computer has an Aptio Setup Utility Bios from American Megatrends, Version 2.17.1246

In there I don't see anything on SATA Ports.

In Advanced I see Chipset Control (set to combo slot as storage device), Intel Rapid Start Tech = Enabled, Sata Mode = AHCI Mode

In Security I see Secure Boot Enabled, Boot Mode = Standard. There's a drop down for TPM Configuration set to Disable

In Boot there is nothing under Boot Option Priorities and there is a UEFI Setting drop down - under that UEFI Boot is Enabled and Launch CSM is Enabled.

Appreciate anything you can help with. Other similar threads seem to have a different BIOS and some directions about using F8 which doesn't seem to do anything for me.

THANK YOU!

intel i7 470k @4.00ghz
32768 mb extended mem
mb series p770zm
bios version 1.03.14 topc
kbc firmware 1.03.09

vga card nv geforce gtx 980m

Am i missing anything?

Also tried the other M.2 slot, computer wouldn't boot with it plugged in there.
