Trouble help connecting Canon CFX-L3500 IF

Good Morning! I am having trouble installing the drivers for a Canon CFX-L3500 IF, which is a Laser Multifunction System. The OS is Win XP and the drivers can be found here http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/office/laser_facsimile/cfx_l3500if/cfx_l3500_if#DriversAndSoftware

I also have the original disk, but that doesn't work either? As a stand alone fax and copier, the unit works great, but I cannot connect it to my computer like it should?

Try manually installing the drivers via the control panel, i.e. add new hardware and see if that gets it going.

I have been trying to install this driver for day's and no luck and I did try your suggestion of Control Panel, Add New Hardware, etc....The drivers were found at the usa.canon website, but towards the end of installation, I just get get an Error mssg. that says installation incomplete. It seems that their is a missing file its looking for and I get prompted to insert the old disc that I purchased for a Win ME OS, but then I get a different error message that says file not found? I'm trying to hang in there!!

The link is for Windows 2000/95/98 make sure the drivers you download is for Windows ME OS and also the disc, Windows ME OS is also the same what was installed on your machine. Under this operating system you have to manually search the missing file.
