Trouble installing the CPU

Hi,

I'm in the process of building my new PC and am having trouble with installing the CPU in the motherboard. The motherboard I have is an ASRock Extreme6 z87 and my CPU is an Intel i5 4670K. I looked in the motherboard manual but it didn't help me at all. I think the problem is getting the metal cover over the CPU once it's put in the socket but no matter what I try the metal cover wont go over it fully.
