Hello, i have arrived to this forum in search for help.

I have a Acer helios predator 300 (PH315-55) that i have been using for over a year now.

The other day i decided i wanted to install a clean install of windows operating system.

I was having some issues with my drive showing up in boot screen when booting up bios.

I thought maybe it was something to do with my ssd so i removed it from the laptop and put it into another computer to format and wipe clean.

When i put it back into the laptop and let it start normally i get a blue recovery screen saying " Your PC/Device needs to be repaired"

"The application or operating system couldnt be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors."

"File:\Windows\system32\winload.efi

"Error code 0x000000f"

I tried to do some more research and installed a windows media creation tool on my ssd which in turn gave me access to install, troubleshoot and command prompt options which i wasnt able to access before.

When i tried the bcdedit command i got message "the boot configuration data store could not be opened the requested system, device cannot be found"

I looked up the message i got from bcdedit and how to fix it and ended up trying to repair it using the bootrec commands but with no success.

I looked up the message i got from the last step which was "The system cannot find the path specified" and ended up running the command disk part.

When i tried to disk diskpart and list my disks and volumes i was unable to find any.

I should mention that i do have 2 ssd that had been formated and windows creations tools insalled but no disks or volumes are being shown

I am a bit lost as to what else i can do without confusing myself any further or messing anything up and am asking anyone for any help to get my computer running again.

Thanks

How many drives of ANY type were inside the machine when you last attempted the clean install using the "media creation tool"?

Standard procedure would be to use a USB stick with media creation tool.....but you say you used an SSD. Is that correct?

You don't put the MediaCreation tool on one of the SSD.

You need a flash drive, 8GB or larger.
Follow this tutorial (depending on which OS):

I started writing this message for the question last week and saved it untill i had some more time to try reseach my problem and did not document how many disk. If i recall correctly i would have originally tried to run the media creation tool as recommended from a usb stick, But i would have the same issue i am having now which appears to have something to do with the master boot record?

Yes i can confirm i did start from a usb stick and was having the problem of finding any disk when trying to just install windows from the media creation tool, That led me down the rabbit hole of trying to find other solutions.
I installed the windows media creation tool on both ssd in hopes maybe it had something to do with originally formating it and that was the reason the disks were not showing up.

Start over.
Let us know which OS.

Follow the relevant tutorial linked above, exactly.

Let us know which specific step it fails at.
Pref with screencaps.

Media creation tool needs to be on a USB stick of 8 gb or larger. NOT an SSD.

You must boot from that stick. NOT anything else.

You should be immediately shown all internal disks and all partitions on them, with check boxes. You would check ALL the partitions and delete them right then and there.

And then proceed with "OK" or "Next" or whatever it says.

If you don't see that, you are in no mans land of some type and need to regroup.

if properly following the tutorial, it should state to disconnect all disks except the intended OS location disk.
if it doesn't state that, make sure to do it.

upload any images you have to imgur.com and provide links here to be viewed in the thread.
Ok. imgur was down at this time.

The option to format either drive is grayed out
It says "Windows cannot be installed on this disk/ The selected disk has a MBR partition table. On EFI system, Windows can only be installed to GPT disk"
