I have started on editing mods to blend in with "Necessities of
Morrowind v2" and "Windows Glow v2". Beginning with "Haldenshore v1.2"
I created one plugin containing only the changes effecting "Necessities"
and one plugin containing only the changes effecting "Windows Glow".
I did so by loading the supporting mods into the Construction Set and
saving my work into a separate file.
When I load Morrowind with all three files (Haldenshore.esp and the
two addons) everything works fine.
To reduce the number of plugins, I'm now trying to combine those
three into one mod.
My problem is: Whatever I do, they won't merge correctly. When I use
TESAME, it seems to work, but on closing TESAME, I receive an "Access
violation" and end up with Haldenshore being void of objects.
The same happens when I try to merge the mods using the "Enchanted
Editor". The only way seems to be using the TESCS, but when I do so,
it even includes "Necessities" and "Windows Glow" in the plugin.
As you can imagine, this results in a large file destined to produce
conflicts when upgrading either "Necessities" or "Windows Glow".
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Or better still: Does anyone know how to merge mods that depend on
other mods themselves?
Every help is appreciated.
