The PSU is plugged into a power strip not the wall is that an issue if it is I will test that when I get home(didn't fix the issue)

Have you tried to get into BIOS? If you can get into the BIOS (by hitting the DEL button repeatedly after pushing the power up button on the case), update it with the latest non-beta BIOS file from the Gigabyte website for your motherboard.

You definitely need an 8-pin (4x2) connection from your PSU to the ATX_12V_2X4 connector on your motherboard. I can't quite determine if you do from your video.

The issue is ir won't post if you watched the video I said the monitor is not getting a signal
