Lightning hit last night and I believe knocked out the ethernet ports on my modem(says ethernet is not connected when it is, tried other ports), so I'm trying to reconnect my wireless adapter on my desktop (WiFi to phone and tablet work).
After reinstalling everything on my PC I turned the wireless adapter off because it was defaulting to that connection even though I turned WiFi off and I wanted to use the wired Network.

For some reason the device manager isn't showing the wireless card unless I click 'show hidden devices.' The card shows installed but it's says 'not connected to the computer' in the device manager properties (also Code 45) and I can't figure out where to click to enable it again. In device manager-->properties I enabled all four property Options under the advanced tab but that didn't do anything so I reset the network connection and my PC restarted, but I'm still having the same issue.
Thanks,
Tim
