Trouble updating the G41M-VS3's BIOS

I have a G41M-VS3 motherboard by Phitronics and I think updating the BIOS will fix my PC's problems.
The thing is, Phitronics' website doesn't exist anymore so I went to ASRock's: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G41M-VS3/index.asp?cat=Download&os=BIOS

I tried ALL the versions but I always get: "Error: File ID ROM Incorrect".
On Windows, Instant Flash and DOS.

I even tried the R2.0 ones: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G41M-VS3%20R2.0/index.asp?cat=Download&os=BIOS

What can be done to make them work?
Maybe there's somewhere I can download different/Phitronics files?
Or something that has the same effect as a BIOS update?
