I just bought a GTX 660ti for my computer and it's not performing the way i hoped. I tried running saints row: the third, but the quality of the game was unplayable (graphics were chunky and the game lagged.) I even lowered the grpahic settings to the minimum and it still had the same problem. I tried re-installing the drivers for the card and re-installing the game but nothing fixed it.

Computer specs:
550w power supply
Ga 970A-D3 gigabyte motherboard\
20g of ripjaw memory
Nvidia GTX 660ti card
AMD FX 6-core processor (runs at 3.3ghz)

Solution
make sure my bios newest f11. also download the newest chipset drivers for the mb. use gpu-z see that the card running at 16x mode. if it not the card it could be the power supply if it a no names unit.

that's what i was thinking of doing. How strong should it be though? 800w? or is that too much.
