Trouble with building a computer.

I am trying to put together a pc with a maximus apex ix board using a phantek enthoo primo special edition case. I cant seem to get the unot to post but the board comes on an md it shows no indicator of any problems but it does not look like the cpu and aio unit is coming on. I know I placed the cpu im correctky. Aio is on tight. Ill try to post some pictures. Cant get the power button to work either, have to oress the button on the board to get it running.

You can read about ATX power connection at page 58, EATXPWR at page 45 and about power button at page 46. Please check the drawing and your connections and report back!

The AIO power connector labels 12v DC. Been trying tonfind the right place for it since its probably whats causing the system to post is not seeing an active cpu cooler. Anyone has any ideas? Its a silent loop 360 aio I had to import it to the u.s since it wasnt readily available. I see no error lights. I see a code of 00 on the error code box but that normally indicates nothing is wrong. It makes no sense.

Sighs. Bought parts over near a year to build this. Ill never custom build again. Shoulda went to xidax.

It seems to me it a regular 3 pin header, so it fits to any motherboard 3 or 4 pin connector. The position of the connectors is detailed at page 43 of the motherboard manual.

I found the problem. Board and CPU was defective. Had to RMA. Thanks for the help guys.

That's why your should save up and buy parts at once. Unfortunately, sometimes those types of situations happen, but if you are in the return period, you may not have to deal with the manufacturer for an RMA.
