Trouble with getting os on custom build

Hi everyone! I put together my first PC with these parts:

-AMD A8 6600K Quad-Core Processor 3.9GHz (integrated graphics)
-Gigabyte F2A85XM-D3H Motherboard
-2 sticks Adata Gaming Series 2GB DDR3-1600G
-1TB Western Digital 7200 RPM Sata Black(performance) Hard Drive
-480Watt PSU 115Volts
-LG 24x Super Multi DVD writer
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit disk kit

I've been having trouble getting the computer to run.
Currently I'll be able to install windows to a point where I'm told to restart.
When I restart however it will try to boot off the hard drive, start to display the windows loading screen, then turn off.
Any ideas how I could fix this?

try using a friend's or another persons ram, hard drive psu etc to see if you can narrow down the problem to one component. sounds like you might want to try to re-install your os or might be a problem with either your psu/hdd
