trouble with my SLi config

I am noticing on certain games that one of my 2 graphics cards stops working one is reading 100% and the other 0% is this an issue with the cards or the game?

And if you don't play a game in fullscreen, SLI doesn't work. Even Fullscreen Windows mode does not work. It has to not be in a Window to work. Crossfire has the same restrictions.

its gotta be my card then cause it is happening in dead island riptide and it says it supports SLI. WTF!,

add an sli profille for that game.
update your driver / sli profile updates

usually one of the two will correct that. You might want to turn on visual sli notification in the control panel so you know when sli is actually on.

the drivers are all up to date geforce 314.22, how do i create an SLi profile for a game? when just in windows they seem to be sinked fine both are at 13- 15% but under load is when one fails. also i checked in the nvidia control panel and SLI is activated

I also noticed that the bios versions are different on each cardm, would that be part of the issue and how would i update bios so they are both matching
