Trouble with Samsung Galaxy Luna screen dimming and constant need to push HOME button

I like my new phone but I need to adjust the settings to not automatically switch off (Phone still on but need to go back to HOME button to continue refresh) Probably some adjustment in timing but I can't find it.

I'm a novice so just had to do a little more research to discover solution:
Go to Settings-Display then Screen Timeout. and adjust to higher time.
I learned the factory sets the Timeout at 15 seconds, but I could easily adjust to 30, a much more reasonable time before I have to refresh using Home button!
