I've perused the internet and tried a few posts on reddit, to no avail.

My issue is I am having issues with my rig handling Shadow of Mordor. I feel like I should be able to comfortable run the game at high settings (I'm not trying ultra or the HD textures).

I've tried with V-sync on and off, off causes major screen tearing as expected, and with it on I'm almost always down at 30 fps.

This is the first triple A major title I'm playing on my rig (built in April). My drivers are all good, too.

I don't know what to do at this point, any ideas?

My Rig:
EVGA GTX 760 4 GB
i5-4670k no OC
8 GB ram
ASUS Maximus VI Hero

If theres any more info needed for this question please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Stupid question but do your FPS ever go above 30? I not then it might be the vsync of the game locking it at 30 fps.
I dont own the game so i dont know about its settings.
If its the games vsync that keeps you down to 30 then disable it and enable it from your graphics card control
