Troubleshooting a Challenging No-Post Scenario, Could it be a Bad CPU?

Hi All, been experiencing a super challenging issue with my desktop.

Please see this post from a few weeks ago for some of the original details. The TL;DR here is: Moved to a new place, set-up my desktop and it posted/booted fine. Decided to change what room I had it in and it suddenly stopped posting with my ASUS board stating that it was a RAM issue.

Since then I have tried a whole bunch of things in the following order, with 0 luck:

  • - Got a new set of the same exact RAM sticks (didn't solve the issue)
    - Benched the whole computer with just the motherboard, CPU and RAM (didn't solve the issue)
    - Went through the entirety of the no-post guide and Tradesman1's benching guide (didn't solve the issue)
    - Had a computer repair store guy look at it and his diagnosis was that it was a motherboard problem so I ordered a new board (ASRock Z75 Pro3), put the new board in with my old CPU (2600K) and my old RAM (GSkill 2x 4gb, 1600 mhz) and it still didn't post, but if I pulled the sticks out I would get the 3 long beeps post-code indicating no memory which led me to believe it was a memory issue with this new board
    - Looked online and noticed my old memory wasn't actually compatible, so I got a set of compatible sticks and tried those, but still no-post
    - Figured it might be the PSU so I picked up a 600w modular power supply, but this also didn't solve the problem
So at this point I have essentially tested my desktop with three new components and still no dice. I am leaning towards believing that it must be the CPU, but that still seems unlikely given that the I am getting a no memory beep code if I pull the RAM and the CPU shows no signs of damage (bent pins, etc.). I also am thinking it's possible that this all has to do with my new place. Perhaps I experienced a power surge that messed up a few components?

Any advice would help, do you think I need a new CPU?
