[SOLVED] Troubleshooting BSOD

I started having a problem with irql_not_less_or_equal error from mid june/ july this year. In the last month, my laptop also started going into a freeze, i.e. the screen goes black and laptop doesn't do anything until I manually restart it with the power button. Typically I get the the BSOD, and it happens randomly throughout the day (0-3 times usually). It can happen, while browsing the web or running some program, or gaming. Interestingly, the BSOD is provoked by unity games, as I get it within an hour (tested with Mechanicus and Cuphead), though it might have another cause entirely.

My laptop is Asus TUF a15, a bit over a year old.
CPU: Ryzen 7 4800H 2.9 Ghz (4.2 Ghz Turbo)
GPU: Nvidia 1660 Ti
RAM: Micron technology 16 GB (2x8 GB) 3200 Mhz
SSD: 512 GB
Win 10 19044
Bios FA506IU.316

I haven't done any overclocking or otherwise messed with the hardware.

Here is a set of dumps I accumulated recently uploaded to Google Drive

The things I tried
  • sfc /scannow
  • RAM checks with memtest86 and windows memory checker
  • Disk integrity checks
  • CPU stress test with prime95 (ran for 10 min and recorded the hardware loads)
  • GPU stress test with Furmark (ran for 10 min and recorded the hardware loads)
  • Driver verification (non-windows)
  • Reset windows
I also can say that i do not encounter any crashes while running in safe mode or when the CPU is running in less than nominal.

I am looking for help with troubleshooting this issue as I am not very familiar with this kind of debugging. Any input will be appreciated!

Hi, I ran the dump files through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/a7gfsd81/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

There might be a BIOS update available for your system. If there is.. wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.
