Good Evening all,
I just finished putting my build together, and thinking that I was done, I plugged the PSU into the wall and made sure the power switch is on (I). But when I pressed the power button (first on case, then the power button on the MoBo) there was no response from any components.
I've tried the switch in both (I/O) directions and have used multiple outlets. Ideas?
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE_RD 60.1 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory
Hard Drive: Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.D 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 3GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master HAF 922 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: XFX 850W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
The 24 pin mobo power is connected, cpu power is connected, gpu power is connected...
On power up the PSU makes a small *click*. This doesn't sound like a sign of a DOA component to me, but maybe it is.
Thank you fort any help,
Dan
