I'm running Win 7 64bit SP 1. Rig specs to the left under my icon.

I have a Gigabyte GA H97 D3H mobo. There is an optional App Center which I have installed, just so I can install the Fast Boot Utility \ App. If you enable Fast or Ultrafast Boot in the BIOS, then normally you need to pull the battery to get back into the BIOS. But if You have the Fast Boot Utility installed, then it's supposed to allow you to set it to disabled from Windows, which will then automatically reboot you into the BIOS.

If I have UltraFast boot enabled, and I open the Fast Boot Utility, then this is what it looks like in the App Center

You can see that there are options to set it to Fast or Disabled. So if I set it to Disabled, this is what it then looks like in the App Center

However, at that point I'm unable to get it to reboot with those settings saved. I'm not sure how to get it to work. You can see the icon top left with the finger in the circle. If I click on that it does nothing. If I double click it, it does nothing. So when I click on it, It doesn't momentarily flash or give any indication. If I hit enter, it minimizes the app but does nothing. If I leave it open with Disabled checked, and then reboot, it just reboots still in Ultrafast, and when I re-open the App it is just back to Ultrafast. Same thing if I leave it open, then power off. It just reboots back in Ultrafast.

When I first got the mobo, I know it worked because I tried it once. But I uninstalled the AppCenter after that, and only just tried it again. And I can not remember at all how I got it to work. There is nothing in the manual about it. I can't find any kind of instructions for the App center at ll. But I do remember that it rebooted the computer automatically, and went straight to BIOS.

If anyone has used this App or knows it, how do I get it to work?

I was able to solve this by contacting Gigabyte and using a previous version of Fast Boot. So here's the configuration that worked for me:

Gigabyte GA H97 D3H 2013 mobo v F6
App center v 1.15.0515 (App center can be the newest or older version)
Fast Boot v 1.00.0000 ***This is the older Fast Boot version that worked for me, and shipped with my mobo. I had downloaded the latest versions and none worked. Rolling back to this version worked

So to get the Fast Boot app to work, in order to disable Fast Boot from Windows, to be able to enter BIOS (without the route of pulling battery):

Close any open programs or data you want to save. Open the Gigabyte App center, and click on Fast Boot. When the icon comes on screen, make your selection, then hit enter. Then about five or ten seconds later it will auto shutdown windows and reboot to BIOS with your changes. Save and reboot.
