Question Troubleshooting GPU HDMI port not working ?

Hello all,

I have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Super with HDMI port not working. My current monitor has HDMI/VGA/DVI ports. My GPU has 1 HDMI port and 3 DisplayPorts. My work around is using a DP to HDMI adapter. I have tried a clean driver install per the How To guide but still no HDMI.

I have also tried plugging in 2 monitors, one with DP and one HDMI to see if the computer detects a 2nd display, nothing. Any other suggested troubleshooting steps would be appreciated!

Since I have the adapter I am still up an running, but is an HDMI port going out a sign of worse things to come? Obviously don't want to jump into the GPU market these days.

I have 2 nvidia cards 1050 and 750 and both of them no longer work with HDMI. Both did a week ago!

Your post makes me wonder if latest Nvidia drivers responsible, dont think so since hardware level initiated before software, unless nvidia driver updates hardware, dont know but doubt it.
