So I'm attempting to troubleshoot my girlfriend's pc crashing and I noticed she's missing some PCI drivers and an SM Bus Controller driver on her PC, but I don't know exactly where to download them from? The only thing plugged into any PCIe slot is her graphics card and that works fine and shows up in the device manager.

Her Device Manager screen shows this:

And her PC Specs are as follows:

Code:

It appears she's missing some PCI device drivers but installing the chipset motherboard drivers doesn't seem to fix it and I'm not sure what else to install from the motherboard website to get these to fix themselves?

The website for the motherboard is here: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-C...g/TUF-GAMING-H570-PRO-WIFI/HelpDesk_Download/ I'm kind of at a loss and don't want to go installing random drivers in case things break.

not often i see ram in that layout. Its okay, I looked in manual. link

could be the bios update will fix it, as your bios is dated 27th April but your version of Intel Management Engine interface is 8 months newer, it helps if they closer in age.

Some of the BSOD could be internet drivers.

Does she use WIFI or Ethernet cable?
while her WIFI/BT is up to date, her Ethernet drivers aren't Intel

There is a BIOS update available for your system. You are using version 820 and the latest is version 1203. (That's only a single update despite huge differences in the version numbers.) Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

We went through this step and it told us to repair/modify instead of a fresh install so I think these are the drivers we had installed already.

Ok! So I managed to figure it out. It was actually a combination of Colif and dwd999's answers - turns out the drivers were on the motherboard website here: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-C...g/TUF-GAMING-H570-PRO-WIFI/HelpDesk_Download/ under the chipset category but you had to expand the chipset category to see them all and we needed both the Serial IO drivers (Version 30.100.2051.37), the Intel ME drivers (Version 2047.100.0.1039) AND the regular old Intel Chipset drivers that were all the way at the bottom of the expanded list (Version 10.1.18634.8254) and needless to say that is the most confusing layout of drivers I think I've ever seen! But the PCIe drivers and Serial Bus drivers have all been installed and everything looks good to go so far! I appreciate everyone's help 🙏
