Troubleshooting resolution on acer v173 monitor

Hello,

I am a computer teacher and one of the students changed the resolution to a larger format than the original setting of 1280 X 1024. How can I change it back?

Boot to Safe Mode, change the resolution back to 1280 X 1024, then reboot.
