I recently was having trouble with my custom built system from 2011 spontaneously giving me BSODs and performing extremely poorly. I attempted some easy fixes to no avail and instead ordered a new hard drive and motherboard because I was already looking into getting those before the problems began. I put those two components in and am still having identical errors. I keep getting incompatible hardware errors and incompatible drivers. My computer will boot and make it into Windows but the BSOD usually hits around 10 minutes in. I ran memtest which found no errors and just cannot nail down the problem. Any ideas?

My OS is 7 ultimate and I currently run an Asus motherboard M5A97 R2.0 970 AM3+R. Hard drive is a Western Digital velociraptor 500GB, an Nvidia gtx 9500, a cheap Radeon backup graphics card maybe a 500, 2 sticks of 4gb Ddr3 ripjaws ram, and a 700w corsair power supply.

I have already attempted to reformat and have saved all my files.. didn't alleviate the problems
