Hey,

I've been getting BSODs every time I boot up my computer withe the error code WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. Before spending my life savings replacing the CPU or Motherboard or whatever, I'd like some help identifying exactly what might be the problem.

In case it may help determining the cause of the issue, here's what we've found so far;

  • From time to time I can boot the computer and get a "miracle boot" where the computer just doesn't crash and runs for hours (while using CPU/GPU intensive applications).
    The computer crashes both on any of my (Windows 10) disk drives (HDDs and an SSD), and while trying to boot off of a Windows 7 install/repair disk.
    The computer does not crash while booting into safe mode (with networking).
    I've replaced the power supply and the issue still occurs.
    I've tried booting with only one video card plugged in (tried with both). (Both are AMD Radeons)
    I've tried to boot with an NVidia card, and I couldn't even get to BIOS. The motherboard also made a beeping sound every 10-20 seconds.

Here are a few links to the minidumps (I have plenty more), maybe someone can find something in one of them?

Sounds like overvoltage to me. I had this happen. If you are using any overclocks, put voltage to auto (*No don't do that it'll heat up blah blah blah*) for the time being until you can confirm this is the issue. If you can't get in to BIOS at all, clear your CMOS by removing the battery and placing it back, and start up your system.
