Hello, I have a Dell Latitude D620 laptop. Lately the CPU fan hasn't been working, but on the extremely rare occasions that it does kick on, it makes a grinding sound as it is trying to turn on and when it is trying to shut off, as if something inside there is broken. I dropped it once and I do not know if that caused the problem or what, but I am wondering if the CPU fan is damaged and needs to be replaced. Can I do this myself or should I leave it to a pro to do?
