Question Troublesome Mining GPU

So I finally found a good deal on a graphics card and upgraded from my 1050 to an Rx 580. However, this graphics card has given me a lot of trouble, since it was an Ex mining GPU with a mining BIOS on it. The seller told me to Run AMD ATI Pixel Patcher and install the drivers, I did, and when I wanted to customize the rgb lighting on the card (Gigabyte Aurous) It couldn't detect it, I tried a few other programs and it said it couldn't identify it because there was an unknown BIOS and it couldn't update. How can I fix the BIOS back to it's original BIOS from the mining BIOS? Thanks!

Is there a switch on the GPU, by which we can change/flip the BIOS settings on the fly, from Mining to Gaming ? Else, you need to Flash the VBIOS (gaming one) for this GPU, IMO.

There doesn't seem to be any physical switch on the card (Gigabyte AORUS) where would it be? Also, how could I flash the VBIOS?

First off, flashing any BIOS can be dangerous. Do at your own risk. You need to look for the VBIOS from this link. Make sure you install the correct VBIOS, based on your particular GPU's brand and exact model number.

I'm not sure, since I've never done this before, and I lack experience as well. But maybe other forum members might be able to guide you much better.
