Hello,
I have a Gigabyte Auros Gaming 5 Wifi x470 with a Ryzen 5 2600. I haven't been able to figure out how to manually change clock settings in the BIOS. I have the ram XMP running which has my RAM running at 3200 MHz.
The CPU clock BIOS stuff are set to auto and when I launch CPUID it always shows the clocks hovering around 3.8 - 3.9 which I assumed they were being auto boosted.
When I launch Auros System Information Viewer it shows the clocks at 3.4 while CPUID is showing the higher rate and the BIOS always shows 3.4 which I was hoping was just the default in BIOS and is boosted when it is actually in Windows. I'm using the stock cooler from the Ryzen 5 2600 and trying to stay away from heating the cpu up to much without a proper cooler but want to get the most out of it I can for now.
Any suggestions or ideas why the clocks would be different or what I should be aiming for with the stock cooler?
