I've been killing myself looking for this item. I need a 2x2 USB 3.0 CROSSOVER switch (two inputs and two outputs) that can flip-flop on a button push. I have two docking stations, both with four monitors, a mouse and a keyboard attached. What I want to do is plug in 2 laptops to whatever switch and be able to switch between the two. Traditional KVM style switches don't work because there's only one given path at a time (either laptop A is using the peripherals or laptop B is using the peripherals at any given time). I need a true switch (I think they call it matrix switching) where A->A:A and B->B:B but then when I switch it flips to A->B:B and B->A:A. I hope this makes sense. Switching the displays is not an option because there are 4 monitors on each docking station all connected by different media (e.g.. some HDMI some USB to DVI and some VGA etc). I'm looking to just "swap" the paths of the USB 3.0 cable at a one button switch if possible.
Thanks in advance
