I'm trying to figure out if TXT is a desirable feature for my next build. I read the Wikipedia and the Intel blurb but I'm still not sure of the pro's and con's. Does it enhance security/integrity of the PC processes? Does it affect the performance? Can it be turned off/on in BIOS or some other way?
There seem to be a lot of questions out there, including in Tom's forums, but I've found no real answers to these questions. Can any help?

I should have gone to Intel first I guess,,, anyway,, probably all you'll ever need to know about this subject (TXT) is covered in depth:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software-developers/intel-txt-software-development-guide.html

So it definitely enhances processing security, but at what cost? Will it interfere with gaming performance? And how much SW is using this TXT or being written for it? Any thoughts?
